I did the turnings over a period of time when I first bought my lathe, will return to doing these soon. The wood for the bases are from previous projects, they're the cut offs and castaways that I save for rainy day projects. Shane did a beautiful job of mounting these minerals and fossils in sterling silver using his skill as a bench jeweler.
